What a better way to connect as a community, take pride in our parks and show mother earth some love.
Hey Louisville
It’s no secret that trash is an ever present problem harming wildlife & ecosystems.
Lets come together as a community to clean up the creeks in Cherokee Park. Garbage in the creeks are endangering local animals & polluting the environment, not to mention it’s not pleasant to look at.
We will meet at the top of Dog Hill near the gazebo at 1:00pm.
Get ready to get dirty so don’t wear your best clothes.
What to bring:-gloves
-garbage bags
-a picker stick if you have one
-reusable water bottle to stay hydrated
Hope to see you there!
April is Earth Month. Let’s empower each other to begin incorporating sustainable practices in our daily routine to take action for the planet.
We can all start by not littering. If you see trash, pick it up.
