Description
From the City of Irving:
December 11, 2019
The holidays can be a lonely time for many people, but a new pet can banish feelings of isolation and help improve a person's health by reducing stress and encouraging socialization and exercise, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Irving Animal Services' 'Home for the Holidays' Adopt-a-thon is the week of Dec. 17-21. Pet adoption fees waived during that week. It is a great opportunity to find a new friend while making a companion animal's days brighter with a forever home. All animals adopted from the IACC are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, and microchipped.
