Press release from the City of Irving: February 16, 2021 With the continuing inclement winter weather and intermittent power supply, all City of Irving facilities, including City Hall, libraries and the Hunter Ferrell Landfill are closed Wednesday, Feb. 17. City facilities will reopen at 10 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 18, weather permitting. The city has opened Senter Park Recreation Center, 901 Senter Road, and Northwest Park Recreation Center, 2800 Cheyenne St., as warming centers for the public. These facilities are open 24 hours during the extreme cold. Residents wanting to make utility payments can visit the Customer Service Payment Options page for alternative methods and locations that accept payments for the city. Thank you for your patience as we work to keep crews and residents safe. During this inclement weather event, general updates on city operations will be available at CityofIrving.org, on the city's Twitter feed (twitter.com/thecityofirving) and Facebook page (facebook.com/thecityofirving).
