Press release from the City of Irving: February 17, 2021 Trash, recycling and brush/bulky item collection will be suspended Feb. 18-19. Trash, recycling, and brush/bulky collections will resume Monday, Feb. 22, weather permitting. The Hunter Ferrell Landfill will be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., daily, Thursday, Feb. 18 through Sunday, Feb. 21 for residents only to dispose of household trash and recycling in containers. There is no charge for residents to bring household trash and recyclables during this time. During this inclement weather event, general updates on city operations will be available at CityofIrving.org, on the city's Twitter feed (twitter.com/thecityofirving) and Facebook page (facebook.com/thecityofirving).
