All City of Irving facilities, including City Hall, libraries and recreation centers are closed Thursday, Feb. 18. However, the Hunter Ferrell Landfill will be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday for residents only to dispose of household trash and recyclables.
The city has opened Senter Park Recreation Center, 901 Senter Road, and Northwest Park Recreation Center, 2800 Cheyenne St., as warming centers for the public. These facilities are open 24 hours during the extreme cold.
Residents wanting to make utility payments can visit the Customer Service Payment Options page for alternative methods and locations that accept payments for the city.
