Students from sixth through 12th grade can participate in a data challenge to help the City of Dallas discover how the coronavirus is affecting young people.
Students selected for the challenge will use math, data and coding skills to work on projects using data from Dallas County. They must showcase what they've learned in a creative way. Each submission must also come with recommendations that can be used for more targeted, effective messaging toward this age group.
Data professionals will mentor the students and help them develop their projects. A panel of judges will select the winners, who will receive prizes.
