Warehouse Worker/Delivery Driver for Sustainability Company

At Dispatch Goods, we are transitioning food delivery and takeout to reusable packaging, eliminating waste that's flooding our oceans and landfills. We are a small company and hiring an additional person to support warehouse operations and delivery driving, starting with 3 days a week (which days can be negotiated), and the potential to ramp up if desired. Compensation: $18-$24/hr Duties include: Deliver dishes to restaurants and companies throughout the Bay Area Collect dishes from partners Packing into pallets Unpacking boxes of new inventory Unpacking dishes, sorting, and sending to dishwashing team Comfortable using pallet jack Be able to lift at least 75 pounds Other: Experience driving box trucks and work vans, largest is 16' Interest in sustainability is a plus Familiarity with cities and towns of Bay area English speaking Be on feet all day, work in cold and hot environments. (Warehouse is not heated or cooled) Experience using material handling equipment including Forklifts and Pallet Jacks a plus, but not necessary Be on time and have good attendance Experience with different forms of logistics Have reliable transportation and valid driver's license Clean DMV record Must be team-oriented, possess a strong work ethic, and maintain composure Experience working at an early-stage company is a bonus Understanding for the nuances of a start-up, and the ability to wear many hats and iterate quickly and effectively
