We have mounted our 55" Samsung on this stand and have loved it. The tv swivels right and left, it is at the exact height for watching your favorite shows.The bottom of the tv is 11" above the top shelf. The center of our 55" flat tv measures 4' off the floor. The mount adjusts up and down 2 inches and swivels left and right 15 degrees. This stand can be used with or without the mount for use as a television stand and is ideal for corner applications. Television shelf holds up to 75 pounds.The back of the stand has a vertical panel rising above the stand that has a mounting bracket that holds our Samsung 55" tv.
