Join us for this special musical presentation.
Members of the Christ Church Schola Cantorum will present selections from the Passion and Easter portions of Handel's Messiah.
Composed in 1741 by George Fredric Handel, Messiah has become one of the best-known and most frequently performed choral works in Western music. In Part II, Handel concentrates on the Passion and ends with the "Hallelujah" chorus. In Part III he covers the resurrection of the dead and Christ's glorification in heaven.
Masks are required for any event on Christ Church's campus, including this performance. Upon check-in, guests will be temperature checked and must answer COVID screening questions. Seating is first come, first serve and is every other pew.
