This class will be focused on making a planter stand using a Delta Tenoning Jig to precisely make four classic woodworking joints. We will explore our wonderful Delta Tenoning Jig and its part to precisely make these three (actually 4) classic woodworking joints on the table saw using a dado stack: Half Lap & Cross Lap Joints Castle Joint Mortise & Tenon Joint (we will also briefly touch on our mortiser here) After we go through instruction on how to setup the dado stack and use the jig to make these joints (about 1 hour), each attendee will be given a kit containing plans and prepared materials to put their new-found knowledge to use making a cool planter stand like the one in the image ($40 value) with the help/supervision/moral support of the instructor over the remaining 2 hours Note: Protective eyewear required (some available at shop).
