Surfside Beach Clean-up. Purim & Nature in Harmony. Beach Clean-Up in SurfsideDate: Sunday, March 7th Time: 8:30-11:30am Limited Space: only the first 30 families to register will be allowed to participate due to COVID-19 restrictions. Please make sure that you are able to attend before committing. Community Service Hours: 4 hours Location: Surfside Community Center 9301 Collins Ave, Surfside, FL 33154 >>> We will meet at the PICNIC area, which is directly in the back of the Community Center <<< Parking: two options, either on the parking on the corner of Collins and 93rd St. or the parking right in front of the Town Hall, on the corner of Harding Avenue and 93rd St. The city will not give any parking tickets during the time of our event. Afterward, if you decide to stay, you must add time to your parking meter. What to Bring: - if you have gardening gloves, please bring them. Otherwise, we will be distributing disposable gloves. - Bring your own water, preferably in reusable water bottles. - Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. - Don't forget your masks! Not the Purim masks :-) - If you have a bucket, it’s the preferred method to pick up garbage. Otherwise, we will provide it to you. Garbage will be disposed of by the City in the proper method of either trash or recyclables After the Event: - You are welcome to stay and enjoy the beautiful Surfside beach with your family. Let's have fun, learn and save the Earth !!!
