We are looking to hire a full time permanent Lead Metal Fabricator in our factory. 3 years experience required. This is a union job. We manufacture material handling conveyors and equipment. This job requires the ability to read basic blue prints and weld. We are using regular carbon steel. The ideal candidate must also be able to do set-ups on band saws, drills and other shop equipment. You will also be working with brake presses, power presses, pneumatic punch systems, and ironworkers. If you know half of what we are looking for we will train you to do the rest. This job is 40 hours per week plus overtime if you want it.
We fabricate steel angle, strips, and sheet between 1/8" and 1/4" thick. You will learn about our drive systems and chain conveyor systems. If you are looking for a position with opportunity to learn new things and increase your pay and opportunity this is it.
We are located in Copiague. We have been in business for 65 years and we have been growing steadily for several years. This is a union position with full union benefits: Guaranteed annual raise, medical, retirement, holiday time, vacation time, personal time, annual bonus.
