Construction General labor/apprentice A tremendous opportunity for the right individual. This is not a dead-end position but a working education on how to do everything in a home while meeting the needs of the construction project timeline and company goals. No days are ever the same and there is always work. We provide flexibility so you can put your family first but also expect hard work and loyalty in return to make sure the jobs get done. General duties as follows: Able to lift 50 to 75 pounds A get it done attitude no matter what the obstacle. Willingness to learn to do things only one way, the right way. Ability to be flexible. Excellent communication skills. This means communicating when there’s a difficulty or an obstacle. The ability to ask for help and additional training when given a challenging task. Reliable to show up to work and transportation to get there. skills: Construction safety awareness to be safe on the job site at all times. Looking for but not required: Drywall skills Handyman skills such as light electrical and light plumbing Experience with tools Experience with light residential renovation Plaster work Painting The perfect candidate will have the following: Experience in construction but wants to learn medium to advanced techniques. Handyman level skills but wants to learn every method to renovate a house from the bottom up. Wants to work Full time for the next few years honing their skills for a career or possible advancement to their own team. Have basic tools Reliable transportation, a truck is a bonus Excited to work side-by-side with a team that wants to invest in their success and skills to not only pay them more but help them advance within the company and in life.
