Description
Part time work, on-call work, or possible full time. Knowledgeable mechanic mainly during snow events, days, nights, anytime during snowplowing or snow removal activities, and next day if other repairs are needed. Previous experience necessary. General repairs and fleet maintenance, but mostly snow plowing related, so similar experience is needed including including various 4x4 trucks, vehicle maintenance, hydraulics, snow plow repairs, various electrical, alternators, solenoids, replacing corroded wires, dielectric grease, tape, heat shrink wraps, proper protection. Repairs and maintenance of snow plow trucks, salt spreader trucks, and power equipment related to snow. Some repairs in field, but most at our shop. Ford F250, F350, F450, Chevy 2500HD, 3500HD, Dodge Ram 2500/3500. Trailer maintenance of various tandem axle heavy duty to medium duty. Trailer bearings, shackles, bushings, decking, wiring, electrical, lube etc. Must be fast and experienced, and be able to see projects to completion with or without assistance. Flexible hrs, and pay based on experience. Good pay for the right person, ideally with prior work at a landscaping and snow removal company. Can be full time for right person, with additional hours met with snow plowing, salting, sidewalk sweeping, front end loader work, and summers filled with various landscaping and landscape/mowing equipment maintenance, and other work to fill in when no repairs are needed. Additional skills helpful, and previous use/experience of Western plows, Fisher plows, Boss snowplows and salt spreaders, troubleshooting, accurate diagnosing, and repairing to completion with minimal turn-around times, parts ordering and inventory, exhaust repair, brakes, drive-trains, skid loader operating, dump trucks, sweepers, snowblowers, snow plowing and salting, lawn equipment repairs, welding, fabricating, temporary and permanent solutions etc, etc. Thanks Please respond via craigslist for more information, contact, and to set up interview, thanks.
