Description

Let`s first take a moment to breathe a sigh of relief that 2020 is done. Yeah, 2021 might have it`s own nightmares, but 2020 is officially over. With 2020 we saw unspeakable grief, anger, and pain. It is safe to say that none of us will ever be the same again. We had our conviction, compassion, and humanity tested in a way it may never be tested again. But – we survived. And, to quote a famous Professor (okay – Dumbledore. I am quoting Dumbledore.): “Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.” People started cooking more, getting in touch with their inner artist, singing, appreciating each other, showing compassion and grace and resilience in the worst of conditions. Homemade sourdough breads, “quarantine haircuts”, new crafts, knitting, crochet, sewing, painting, drawing – all because we had time finally to get in touch with our creativity again. So, in a way, this is my way of sending out a little spark of my creativity. I suffer from depression and last year hit me hard. So I started to paint, and in the midst of painting and pouring my sadness onto the canvas I found magic – the magic of turning a cup of paint into something beautiful. I want to share this magic with you. Drop by my shop and be sure to drop a favorite on it as well!
