Handyman to fix exercise bike/ pedal

I live in Lang Ranch area in Thousand Oaks and I have a exercise bile (HealthRider H10x) and one of the foot pedals came off. It seems easy to fix but the threads are not going in grove or threads need re-adjustment. Not sure. See images. I tried and I could not fix it. If you can and you have proper tools, I will like you to help me to fix this. I would pay for fixing and not for efforts.
