Boston Whaler, part of Brunswick Corporation, is hiring Production Workers (laminating) in Edgewater, FL, to assist with the production and assembly of boats. PART-TIME & FULL-TIME WANTED! SIGN ON BONUS offered! $1k paid in two installments for experienced finishers with proven history in the marine industry! As a Production Worker (laminating), you will perform mix and lay-ups of composite materials, fiberglass, resins, and catalysts onto mold surfaces using various hand tools. This role offers competitive benefits including tuition reimbursement and lucrative pay. Previous experience in a similar role and/or in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred, but not required. On-the-job training is provided! Job Duties: • Operate a variety of power tools including saws, drills, grinders, and overhead hoists • Work with various resins, gelcoats, fiberglass materials, foam, and structural adhesives • Install wood and other components into fiberglass hulls, decks, and small part molds Job Requirements: • Adhere to quality standards • Ability to work in a hot and humid work environment especially during Florida summers • Read and understand blueprints • Must have the ability to use hand, battery, and pneumatic tools Shifts: Must have the availability to work one or more of the shifts outlined below. Overtime is required based on scheduling needs. Shifts and/or overtime may be adjusted based on business needs. Employees will receive a weekend shift differential when they work either a Saturday or a Sunday as part of their shift. • 4 days/10 hours per day • Sunday – Wednesday • Wednesday – Saturday • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday • Part-time hours vary!
