One last try, see if the Craigslist police can leave me alone for once. Punk rock. That’s what I want to do. I play rhythm guitar or bass, but I prefer bass. Realistically I need everybody, but I’d be pumped just to find a decent writing partner to get the ball rolling. Get a few songs together (I have the bones of 4 or 5 already), wait for covid to chill, add the other pieces as we can find them, then hopefully be ready-ish by the time venues start to reopen for shows. I’m really into psychobilly, punk rock, stoner rock, horror rock, looking for more of a so-cal, social d kind of aesthetic/sound. Not quite 3 chords and the truth, but you get the idea. I could write a list of bands I dig as long as my arm, but if you’re into social d, misfits, Mike ness, Hank 3 kind of stuff, then we’ll probably get along. I’m not interested in metal, gospel, covers, hip hop, tribute bands or any other lame crap. I’m looking more to do a startup, but I’d be interested in joining an already existing band with the right group of dudes/ladies. Anyone bored enough to get this started?
