Was recently scammed by someone telling me that they have a 6 month old Plott Hound puppy. Wanted a $50 deposit to ensure I would pick him up on Feb 19, which I thought was fair which looking back, was stupid of me to agree to. I tried getting into contact with them to confirm the pick up time and I never had a response. My boyfriend calls and asks about the dog, asking if he’s still available to which they had said that he was, even though I had paid my deposit for him. Two different phone numbers were used, and I was given a home address in Fernley, but now I doubt that anyone actually lives there. To anyone who may fall into this trap too, the dog’s name is Rocco and the person’s name is Joy Preston (supposedly), plus the numbers are not Nevada numbers. When confronted, they block you. Using a dog for money is disgusting and shameful. The picture they use for the dog is included.
