All-Star Labor & Staffing is hiring for a Machine Operator position in North Portland. This position is for a manufacturing company that makes frozen food. The essential functions for the position: • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) at all times. • Perform line set up, start up, operations, closing and changeover of equipment. • Ensure product quality are met throughout process. • Performs checks and inspections to verify quality. • Performs adjustments as necessary. • Performs machine setups in accordance to applicable procedures and setup sheets. • Accurately completes and maintains all production records. • Responsible for reporting problems to department lead. • Adequate housekeeping at all times during shift, creating an organized layout for all personnel. • Review and assure appropriate adherence with quality, safety policies and procedures. • Perform other duties as directed by the lead. 6 months Machine Operator experience required. Weekends are required. Must be OK with overtime (40-50 hours a week). Background check required. Drug Free environment. Public transportation is not reliable right now due to COVID shutting down bus lines and limiting schedules.
