We are looking for a great team member for our housekeeping department who is dedicated to the highest level of housekeeping and hotel customer service. Because we want you to look your best, we provide for you, at no expense, custom-tailored uniforms for both daytime and evening wear. Here is a summary of the open position. Starting salary of $15.00 per hour based on your previous experience. You will share tips and we offer bonuses throughout the year. JOB TITLE: HOTEL HOUSEKEEPING REPORTS TO: Hotel Manager TO APPLY: Read the information below and follow the link for the online application POSITION SUMMARY: Performs any combination of the following tasks to maintain guest rooms, working areas, and the hotel premises in general in a clean and orderly manner. A: YOU MUST SPEAK AND READ ENGLISH B. PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG SCREEN TEST C. WORKING HOURS WILL BE 9 AM TO 3 PM ON FRIDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY, AND MONDAY. BETWEEN 20-25 HOURS PER WEEK TO START. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Cleans rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner, broom, and carpet shampoo machine. 2. Cleans guest room and all public areas. 3. Washes walls and ceiling, moves furniture's and turns mattress. 4. Sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor. 5. Clean windows and mirrors 6. Collects soiled linen for laundering and operate laundry machine 8. Maintains housekeeping carts. 9. Removes trash from guest rooms. 10. Refill and maintain an inventory of guest amenities and supplies. 11. Help other housekeeping team members with the heavy lifting when super cleaning/spring cleaning of rooms. 12. Remove soiled linen and trash from the poolside and other service areas and take them to appropriate locations in the prescribed manner. 13. Assist with placing bed boards, roll-ways beds, extra beds, etc. 14. Report missing/found articles, damage, or merchandise problems to the hotel manager. 15. Respond at all times in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other team members. 16. Take up any tasks assigned by the supervisors as and when needed. 17. There will be heavy lifting from time to time up to 35 lbs. 18. COVID-19 guidelines will be followed *** Outdoor experience with maintaining and housekeeping of pool and lobby area is a PLUS. The hotel will provide professional and custom uniform wear for work. All of our hotel team regularly go out for lunch and other events as well as providing the highest level of customer service to our travelers.
