Come Rage With Us: Singer Wanted

Description

Do you wanna make music that makes you want to chuck beer bottles on the ground at the end of the songs? Well you're in luck friend. We’re AUDIORAGE, an Audioslave/Rage Against The Machine cover band. We’re a drummer that beats the drums like they owe him money, a guitarist with an IT guy’s perfectionist attitude towards recreating Morello’s sounds, and a bassist that owns a PA. We’ve been together for two years or so at this point, but covid blew a hole in all of the fun and loud things we wanted to do. While a pandemic played merry hell with scheduling dates and venues, our singer started to have serious back issues, which led to some serious surgery, and then onto serious therapy. I’m told tall swedish women are involved. At any rate, we’re looking for someone that can sing/rap into a microphone or megaphone like Zac De La Rocha, and growl/shout like Chris Cornell. At first, this might be a temporary type thing until our singer gets back on his feet, but we’re honestly not sure how long it will be. It might even skew towards permanent. We want to start practicing regularly again so we can hit the ground running when live music is a thing again. But it's surprisingly hard to play rock and roll without vocals. Who knew? So basically, if you’re itching to get loud and angry, hit us up. We typically practice at SER Soundworks in Chandler, or someone’s house. We all live in the East Valley, so keep that in mind if you live in Anthem, or somewhere equally as far from us. Rock and Roll.
