THIS IS A TEMPORARY/CONTRACT PAID TRAINING MEALS, HOTEL PROVIDED $20-80 Dollars per hour, BASED ON EXPERIENCE Damage Assessors are responsible for surveying damage, and will be trained to identify primary and secondary electrical facilities including poles, primary wires, secondary wires, services, primary insulators, transformers, fuses, reclosers, substations, etc. They will need to demonstrate proficiency in distinguishing these facilities. They also need to be able to identify the difference between electrical, cablevision, and telephone lines. This work involves 2 person crews organized in teams of 10 to 15 crews who assess damage to an electric distribution network after an event such as a hurricane A short test will evaluate your knowledge and determine how much training you need.
