Have you always wanted a giant best friend? Hulk is a 3-4 years old Great Dane (150lbs) that was found as a stray in September 2020 in Wyoming. He has been living in a foster home in Arvada ever since. Due to medical issues (all solved!) and training needs, Hulk has been passed over by several potential adopters. He continues to make excellent progress in his training (he is reactive to other dogs on leash and requires slow intros with other dogs) and his ideal home would be a family that continues to be dedicated to his training needs. He is extremely loving, cuddly, and food-motivated. He requires an "alpha" human that can help guide him, make him feel safe, handle him on leash, and understand him. Like any rescue dog, Hulk will require time, patience, lots of attention, and an abundance of love. He is friendly to humans, but due to his anxiety, it is not recommended he live with children (teens are ok). Foster family loves him, but cannot keep him due to a pending move out of state (as well as a desire to continue fostering dogs that need temporary homes). Foster family will be available via phone/text indefinitely for support & questions. He is capable of jumping a 4ft fence.
