Studio Event Staffing is seeking a new Temporary Staffing Manager to join our dynamic team to grow our expanding temporary staffing contract and special events bookings in parts of NYC (Bronx, Staten Island, Manhattan) and lower Westchester County. If you are a professionally driven individual who has a passion for growing business, recruiting, and working collaboratively with an amazing team in a fast-paced team environment, then this is the place for you! This is an immediate opportunity with strong earnings, high growth potential, and professional opportunity! Please note, currently because of COVID our entire company is working remote. Thus, this position will start 100% remote. You must be able to work from a computer with internet access and be able to make cold calls to potential clients. Previous temporary staffing experience is a plus. OVERVIEW The Staffing Manager is primarily responsible for the placement, in house training, and success of the firm’s direct hire business and temporary workforce. DUTIES: * Establish new contracts or event bookings *Recruiting, hiring, and managing temporary staff *Reporting and communicating all activities with the company's President Responsilbilities *Must be able to travel *Must be able to work weekends, holidays or as needed for events *Must have previous hospitality experience *Must be a good communicator *Must be reliable *Must be able to work with others *Must be able to produce monthly reports
