Requirements -Must be able to lift 100lbs -Must have own transportation -Must be able to wrap furniture -Must be able to carry furniture carefully -Must be able to load a truck -Must be polite and have great customer service skills -Must be able to learn new skills -Must be able to do basic assembly & disassembly of furniture (beds, cribs, bunk beds, tables, pianos, etc.) -Must be able to go without lunch if necessary -Must pass a background check -Must be able to work on short notice -Must be able to work both part time and full time. We are a family business that prides ourselves on performing "good old fashion" work. This is an environment in which we actually care about our customers and doing the job right. Job Description: Every day is a different job. We start a moving job one day and we finish it that day. We move customers furniture from their old house to their new house. We start between 7:30a and 8:00a in the morning and work until each job is done. We usually do 1 job a day. Every job is different as far as the amount of stuff we are moving and the location where we work. Most jobs are within 10mile radius of bergenfield.
