AHRC NYC is offering a wonderful program for young adults which offers a comprehensive training, paid internship and job placement. You can also get your HSE(GED) and get industry recognized certifications like OSHA 10; Food Handler; Cleaning Management Institute Certification, become a Certified Direct Support Professional. Eligibility: This program is funded by Department of Youth and Community Development for youth aged 16-24 years old -Must reside in NYC -BE legally authorized to work -Be out of school and underemployed or not employed -Want a job and HSE if needed Services you will receive: Daily lunch Metro Cards HSE training if you do not have HSE/HS Diploma Paid internship $15 per hour for 250 hours Stipend if your focus is only getting HSE Counseling and other support services Job Placement Enrollment into college if desired Certification (free to you) Services provided remotely and in person- devices provided!
