CARPENTER / PAINTER / Handyman (DC MD VA) compensation: $25 to $30 per hour pay rate depends on experience and how well equipped you are. employment type: full-time We are a steadily growing Handyman company that performs painting and other Home Improvement task for homeowner and business. We are in need of a helper to assist us in the day-to-day operations of our business. Core Responsibilities of the position: You will be asked to report jobsites each day, where you will accompany the Handyman. The ability to follow a process and keep the work area tidy, safe and organized will be critical to your success. You will need to be a professional painter with light Handyman skills. You will need to have experience in: - sanding, repairing, and cleaning surfaces for painting - Drywall repair and finishing - cover surfaces of items that will not be painted using masking tape / paper / plastic / tarps - help clean-up the work area after the painting process, including removing tape and supplies - after the job is complete, clean as required, and help carry equipment back to the work vehicle and neatly store it where it belongs. - we expect you to have Home Improvement skills in order to keep you busy.
