About Conscious Discipline Traumatic experiences have a significant impact on a child’s ability to learn, participate in a classroom setting and interact with others. More and more children in Franklin County are being affected by trauma and demonstrating these problematic behaviors. Conscious Discipline has been proven to reduce problematic behaviors in children, reduce stress for classroom professionals, and reduce turnover rates for employees. This training does not just support children who have experienced trauma. The Conscious Discipline approach will teach early childhood professionals to create classrooms that help ALL children to control their behaviors, participate with others, make friends, make good decisions and learn.
