Description

Established, working rock and roll cover band seeks male lead vocalist/frontman. We are a group of 30 and 40 somethings who play a wide variety of rock and roll cover songs from the 60's to today. From Tom Petty, to Pearl Jam, from The Doors, to Metallica, we are skilled at providing a great listening experience to our audience and fans. We have closed band rehearsal once a week on the south side of Indianapolis. Our goal is to return to gigging up to twice a month as soon as these covid restrictions are relaxed. What we provide: Quality PA system with plenty of power and lighting for stage presence. We practice at home individually and come to band rehearsal ready. We won't waste each other's time, and we certainly will not waste yours. We are all experienced musicians with decades of performance and music experience. We are serious about our craft. You can expect us to provide a strong foundation (think wall of sound) for you to express your vocal individuality. We also provide strong backing vocals. We are a friendly group of guys and all song/show suggestions will be taken seriously. All band members have equal input into song selection. Above all else, we have FUN!! What we expect of you: 1. Dedication! Regular attendance at band rehearsal is required. We use band rehearsal to learn new material and work on our show. Our practice time is a valuable commodity, we have little time or patience for members who arrive unprepared or call to cancel rehearsal at the last minute. 2. Reliable equipment. Individually, we have thousands of dollars invested into our equipment to make sure it is in proper working order at all times. We, as individuals, constantly upgrade our musical equipment. The least we expect from a singer is to provide their own microphone and mic cable. We believe a small investment of $100 for a Shure SM-58 is a reasonable request. 3. A well grounded understanding of melody, harmony, backing harmony, and know and understand the difference between them. A band with strong vocal harmonies is what separates the good bands from the bad bands. If this sounds like an opportunity for you, please contact us and we will set up a meeting and jam session.
