TOM THE TORPEDOES The Music of Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers OUR STORY: Upon the death of Tom Petty in October 2017 and after much consideration, Tom The Torpedoes was born. Based out of Florence, Kentucky, this is not just a cover band or a tribute show, it is a true calling from above. They nail that signature, vintage Petty sound and are seasoned, talented players. Petty is the front man and bass player’s lifelong #1 influence. And that translates into the authenticity of this band. Though having the look, there’s no attempt to look like the Heartbreakers. Tom The Torpedoes are an authentic rock & roll band, not folky or acoustic. Petty & the Heartbreakers have more radio hits than can be played in one show. But they play pall of them and will satisfy audiences everywhere. As Tom used to say, they are “working on something big”. Book it!
