Description

Under the direction of the Facilities Director, performs gardening activities including daily care and maintenance of the landscaping; and monitoring and maintaining the health of the plants, vegetation and lawn area. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Applies fertilizers, transplants flowers and plants; and irrigates grounds Maintains health and aesthetic appearance of lawn and foliage Cleans grounds by keeping debris and fallen leaves off driveways, winery walkways and other public areas Mows lawns; trims and edges around walks, flower beds and walls; prunes shrubs and trees Maintains tools to increase longevity Cleans out drainage ditches and culverts Checks irrigation system to ensure proper operation Prepares and grades terrain and seeds and lays sod for lawn, as needed Adheres to safety regulations and policies; reports any potential safety issue to supervisor or the Safety Coordinator Please send resume.
