Press release from the Town of Westford: February 17, 2021 Town of Westford and Lowell General Hospital Partner in Offering Scheduled Blocked Appointments Through COA Van A partnership between the Town of Westford and Lowell General Hospital has been reached that will allow the Cameron Senior Center to use its vans to transport citizens of Westford to and from the mass vaccination site at 1001 Pawtucket Blvd, Lowell, MA. Lowell General has generously provided the ability for blocks of appointments to be reserved for our vans. Priority will be given to Seniors age 75 and older who have not yet received their first Covid-19 Vaccination shot, followed by Seniors 65 and older, as well as people with 2 or more comorbidities. Appointments will be scheduled by on a first come first serve basis within those priority groups. Once we have fulfilled the amount of people that we have capacity for on a given date, we will begin to schedule additional dates. Thursday, February 25th is the first available block of appointments which have been reserved for this purpose. Those interested in taking the Council on Aging Van to one of these vaccination appointments should reach out to the Cameron Center at 978-692-5523.
