PrideStaff is recruiting for Production Technicians for Day/Night 12-Hr. Shift for a manufacturing company located in Mills River. Weekly Bonus! Job Summary: Responsible for operating and monitoring high-speed equipment while interpreting gauges, dials written operating instructions and safety standards, identifying problems as they occur and responding quickly by following standard procedures.  Duties and Responsibilities: - Follows production procedures in the manufacturing of materials. - Monitors production instrumentation and timely rapport any discrepancies per SOP’s. - Inspects workpieces for defects, and measure workpieces to determine accuracy of machine operation, using rules, templates, or other measuring instruments. - Observes machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunctions, adjusting machines as necessary. - Keeps work area clean to avoid potential accidents. - Helps team members maintain a clean, organized warehouse. - Sets machine stops or guides to specified lengths as indicated by scales, rules, or templates. - Understands, keep up to date and adhere to all company policies. - Works in a safe manner following all safety procedures, rules and regulations. Notify management of any equipment or building damage, or any matters of concern. - Follows correct procedures for operating material handling equipment. - May train other team members on warehouse processes and procedures. - Participates in required web-based training, in-person, and on-the-job training or as assigned.
