PrideStaff is recruiting for a Receiving Clerk for a 2nd Shift for a distribution company located in Fletcher. Job Summary: Responsible for an array of inbound and outbound tasks associated with documentation, data entry, order/load management, business process compliance, as well as professional communication with carriers, vendors, customers and internal staff. Duties and Responsibilities: - Coordinate with carriers to schedule inbound freight that maximizes receiving capacity and for pickup and addressing any delivery issues - Generating pack lists for floor staff to receive in inventory - Address freight claims and damages with carriers and internal teams - Collaborate with Materials Planning team to prioritize inbound shipments - Conduct supplier audits and work with other teams to address any found discrepancies - Process all field returns and report results - Order needed inventory from internal and external vendors for outbound orders - Provide technical support and reporting to team leads and management - Address all issues with open orders before it impacts customers - Manage orders and build loads for processing that maximizes outbound capacity - Produce pick lists, audit lists, and ship lists needed for outbound process - Process loads in WMS to generate all necessary paperwork - Collaborate with Team Lead to prioritize daily tasks and business requirements - Resolve customer complaints and assigned action items - Create instructions, job detail sheets, and procedures to document processes and create standard work - Complete inventory movement within computer management system and conduct audits to improve inventory within warehouse - Update and maintain all documentation and reports Requirements and Qualifications: - High school diploma, GED, or equivalent - Minimum of 2 years related experience - Must be a team player, flexible, and motivated - Must have the initiative and discipline to work with limited supervision - Must be able to conduct professional communication, both verbally and written - Must be able to demonstrate an efficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook as well as using multiple company management system platforms What’s In It for You? - Bilingual friendly - Great safety record - Growth opportunities - No experience needed-training provided. - Temp to Hire, Benefits upon conversion Hours of Work: 2nd Shift – 11:00 am to 8:00 pm Apply online at or in person at 5 Regent Park Blvd., Unit 102, Asheville, NC 28806 or call 828-782-3392.
