Description
FRAMINGHAM, MA — An emergency snow parking ban will go into effect in Framingham beginning at 2 p.m. Friday amid a long-duration snow event.
The ban means no parking on arterial roads marked as snow routes. The routes are marked with red and white signs. The ban ends at 7 a.m. Saturday.
"Residents and employees are encouraged to seek off-street parking and not interfere with snow clearing operations. Any vehicle obstructing snow clearing operations will be towed," Framingham said in a bulletin Thursday.
The recycling center along Mount Wayte Avenue will also be closed due to the weather. The free Project Beacon coronavirus testing site along Franklin Street will have a delayed opening at 1 p.m.
Framingham could see up to 4 more inches of snow on Friday, with flakes set to end between 9 p.m. and midnight, according to the latest National Weather Service forecast.
