Funk Project Needs Bass Player

We are a Charleston based funk band called Edison Medicine. We focus, though not exclusively, on New Orleans style funk with some rock and blues thrown into the mix. Along with acts you've heard of, we cover some very interesting but lesser known funk artists like DumpstaPhunk, Deep Banana Blackout, Brand New Heavies, Papa Grows Funk and Randall Bramlett to name a few. Input is always welcome for new material in the genre. Looking for an "in-the-pocket" player to lock in with the drummer. We consist of a great female vocalist, guitar, keyboards, current bass player and drummer. All seasoned musicians who work well together. I have a song list with links to the original artists that I could send to you. Also have arrangements for all songs. We have rehearsal space in Mt. P, full PA and stage lights.
