FARM WORK AND LIGHT ANIMAL CARE (SOUTH OF ASHLAND) Job Description Organic and sustainable farm looking for help with light animal care-sheep and horse. Year round general landscape maintenance, weed-eating, mowing, and blackberry removal. summer flood irrigation on 50+ acres - winter, spring, summer, and fall upkeep of irrigation ditches. Details: 6 month commitment required, 12 - 16 month commitment preferred 9 hour shift (1 hour lunch), 8 am to 6 pm 2 days minimum, 3 or 4 days possible irrigation experience a plus We are looking for someone with the following qualities: Great work ethic - punctual and reliable - animal lover - capable of working unsupervised - must have reliable transportation. Capable of handling a physically demanding job - should be able to lift at least 40 lbs.
