The person looking for male parakeets is lying! There is no reintroduction project for parakeets (aka Budgerigars), as they are a Least Concern species. It's not even legal to set Budgerigars/Parakeets free in Australia that have been bred as pets. There is no "PPTA" organization. They are no endangered and there are millions of them living wild in Australia, so they don't need "saving".
