Learn how to use woodworking machinery! We will cover all the machines necessary to mill a piece of lumber in preparation for a project. Machines include the following: Miter SawPlanerJointerTable SawRouter TableDrum SanderBand SawThere will also be a detailed tour of the woodshop highlighting the sanding area, hardware, and tool storage. Guests are asked to be on time for events. If the safety briefing is missed, the guest will not be able to join the class and no refunds will be given. MakerSpace Charlotte dues-paying members can contact Steve for discounted tickets. Face coverings are required. Masks must cover nose and mouth, as mandated in NC. Hand sanitizer and bathrooms are available for hand washing during the event. Guests will be asked to maintain social distance during the class.
