PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton Community Housing (PCH) will be hosting a virtual fundraiser on Feb. 24, at 7 pm.
The fundraiser will include a lecture by Prof. Eddie S. Glaude Jr. From Princeton University.
Rev. Lukata Mjumbe of Witherspoon Street Presbyterian Church, will moderate a question-and-answer session. Attendees can submit questions before the event.
Glaude will speak about his latest book, Begin Again: James Baldwin's America and Its Urgent Lessons for Our Own. The book explores the life and work of author and activist James Baldwin.
Funds raised during the event will go to PCH's Covid-19 Rent Relief Fund for residents who have been disproportionately impacted by the pandemic.
General admission is $50, while student tickets cost $25. For $85, attendees will also receive a signed copy of Begin Again.
Donations can also be made in support of the event and PCH's Covid-19 Rent Relief Fund.
