Join us this Tuesday to learn some simple, important facts about diabetes and how to live and learn from this disease. Join us this Tuesday and 1 lucky attendant will receive a gift card raffled at the end of class. Each class is short, 20-30 minutes. Fun with our nursing students who will address and recognize symptoms of Diabetes. What are the classic signs of diabetes? Some of the signs and symptoms of type 1 diabetes and type 2 diabetes are: Increased thirst. Frequent urination. Extreme hunger. Unexplained weight loss. Presence of ketones in the urine (ketones are a byproduct of the breakdown of muscle and fat that happens when there's not enough available insulin) Fatigue. Irritability. Recognize the symptoms, learn how to treat and live a better life and control your health and wellness!
