ORLAND PARK, IL — A second person was arrested and charged with two counts of attempted murder in connection with shooting a man, 23, and woman, 31, multiple times near 143rd Street and Will-Cook Road, on Jan. 27, according to the Orland Park Police Department. Arrmon Bulley, 23, of Dolton, was charged and taken into custody on Wednesday, after The South Suburban Emergency Response Team (SSERT) and Orland Park Detectives acquired a search warrant in Dolton, police said. The shooting, initially referred to as a "road rage" incident, sent the two shot to Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. On Feb. 1, Dareaun D. Taylor of Lynwood was taken into custody within 48 hours of the shooting, and police did not specify if anyone else was in the same black 2014 Ford Fusion at the time of the shooting. Bulley was issued a $750,000 bond on Friday and is due back at the Bridgeview Court House on March 19, according to police. On Jan. 27, just after 12:15 p.m., Taylor and Bulley were driving past other traffic on westbound 143rd Street to catch up with the victims' vehicle, police said. When the victims' car stopped at a red light at the Will-Cook Road intersection, police said Taylor pulled his car next to the passenger side of the victim's car and fired multiple gunshots. The victims' front and rear passenger side doors had several bullet holes from the incident, and the two then fled northbound on Will-Cook Road, according to police. Cook County Sheriff's Department evidence technicians later scouted the scene, and police said preliminary reports suggested the incident was targeted and isolated. There is still an active investigation underway, according to police. No additional details will be shared due to the investigation, police said. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Like what you're reading? Invite a friend to subscribe to free Orland Park Patch newsletters and real-time email alerts.
