THOUSAND PALMS, CA — Authorities Saturday were investigating a shooting in a residential area of Thousand Palms. No one was injured but a vehicle was struck by the gunfire, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department. It happened at around 5:30 p.m. Friday near Ramon Road and Desert Moon Drive, sheriff's officials said. No further information was provided by authorities and it was unclear if an arrest was made. —City News Service
