FOF is hosting a basketball combine for unsigned seniors with the opportunity to get recruited from colleges. Covid-19 made it extremely hard for many high school athletes to have the opportunity to get recruited. Faith Over Fear wants to try and recreate that missed opportunity for deserving athletes with the focus being unsigned seniors. We hope this combine will act as an efficient way to be evaluate these athletes who have hopes of being recruited to further their athletic and academic careers. The combine will consist of physical testing such as but not limited to: Vertical jumpShuttle run Lateral quickness 3/4th court sprinting. In addition to physical testing, we will incorporate skill work and end with five-on-five games to evaluate players in a team setting. Students will be required to have either a 2.0 GPA or 18 ACT score to participate. DUE TO COVID-19 GUIDELINES THERE WILL BE A RESTRICTION ON THE NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS. THE COMBINE WILL BE LIMITED TO 50 ATHLETES The combine will begin at 12pm & will end at 4pm. We ask that all athletes arrive 15-20 minutes prior of the start time. All athletes will be given a portfolio which will contain their evaluation sheets. A combine jersey will be provided for use during the event. This is a great opportunity for seniors looking to further their athletic and academic career. We ask that all athletes pack proper snacks to help them stay fueled and hydrated during this intense and competitive combine.
