NEW LENOX, IL — The Friday Night Lenten Fish Fry landscape is going to look a little different in 2021. Many organizations are choosing to hold carry-out or drive-thru events, or are limiting capacity for in-person. In New Lenox, both the Knights of Columbus and VFW Post 9545 will host carry-out only Lenten fish fry events. New Lenox VFW Post 9545Will be held Feb. 19, Feb. 26, March 5, March 12, March 19 and March 26 from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at VFW Post 9545, 323 Old Hickory Road, New Lenox. Orders should be phoned in to eliminate waiting; phone-in orders will start at 3:30 p.m. You can call 815-485-8369 to place your order. Cash or credit card accepted. Menu includes: fish dinner, shrimp dinner, chicken dinner, chicken tenders, coleslaw, baked potatoes and more. New Lenox Knights of ColumbusWill be held Feb. 19, Feb. 26, March 5, March 12, March 19 and March 26 from 5 to 8 p.m. at St. Jude Church, 241 W. Second Ave. A shrimp dinner is $11, a shrimp and cod dinner is $11, cod dinner is $10, three fried fish sliders is $9 and a grilled cheese is $4.
