Mr. Scott Pasek, sponsor of the FBLA at Evergreen Park Community High School, recently announced the results of the FBLA Regional Competition. Congratulations to the following students: Micky Joyce - 1st Place in Introduction to Business Procedures; Leo Cassidy - 2nd Place in Introduction to Public Speaking; Jack Hughes, Colin Kelly, and Billy Buchanan - 2nd Place in Sports and Entertainment Management; Grace Leonard - 3rd Place in Healthcare Administration; Colleen McCarthy - 4th Place in Introduction to Financial Math; Charley Burns and Helen Joyce - 4th Place in Graphic Design; and Danny McQuillan - 5th Place in Accounting. FBLA is the high school division of Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda, Inc. It helps high school students prepare for careers in business through academic competitions (FBLA Competitive Events), leadership development, and educational programs.
