WASHINGTON COUNTY, MN— A total of 31,720 residents— or 12.4 percent of the county— have received at least their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, according to the latest numbers from the Minnesota Department of Health. Over one million COVID-19 shots have been given in Minnesota.
Of those, 12,362 residents — or 4.8 percent of the county — have received both doses.
In Minnesota overall, 728,081 people have received at least one dose. About 286,543 people, or 5.1 percent of the state, have received both doses.
In all, 971,200 vaccines have been shipped to Minnesota providers, and 225,550 vaccines have been shipped to long-term care facilities for the CDC long-term care vaccination program.Those who are currently eligible to be vaccinated include:
