Paid Canvassers Wanted! ($15/hr) to support the campaign of Craig Hickman for State Senate (SD-14) **Special Election: Tuesday, March 9th** Get PAID to keep a Senate Seat Blue! Work as little as 3 canvass shifts over the next two weeks. Door-to-door Paid Canvassers needed! We’ll train you, give you a script, and support you the whole way! We have experience doing door-to-door canvassing during the pandemic and have developed health and safety protocols that include a contactless approach to keep our staff and communities safe. Prior canvassing experience is a plus but not required. MiniVan experience a big plus. Where: Kennebec County (Chelsea, Farmingdale, Gardiner, Hallowell, Manchester, Monmouth, Pittston, Randolph, Readfield, West Gardiner, and Winthrop) Shifts available 7 days a week through Tuesday, March 9 (Election Day); 10 am and 1 pm launches. Compensation: $15/hr for each three-hour shift; reimbursement for gas also available. Craig Hickman is running for State Senate in District 14 (Kennebec County). This seat is open because Former Sen. Shenna Bellows was recently elected Maine’s Secretary of State by the legislature. Craig recently termed out of the House after serving four terms. Craig's a Winthrop farmer, small business owner, author, and champion of justice for all Maine people. Keeping this seat blue will set the tone of Maine politics for the next two years- we need to make sure we elect candidates like Craig who fight for affordable healthcare, living wages, our natural resources, and equal justice for all.
