Press release from West Islip School District: Feb. 18, 2021 West Islip High School seniors Eve Castonguay, Lindsey Pritchard and Karina Vartanian were recently selected for the National Association for Music Education's All-Eastern Honors Ensembles. The event features the finest musicians from Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont. The All-State students will participate in a virtual weekend experience in early March that will include keynote speakers, masterclasses with professional musicians, rehearsals with their conductors, as well as opportunities to learn and network with colleges and universities.
